Intellectual Property Theft: Get Real

A new public education campaign to increase public awareness about the health and economic harm caused by counterfeit goods.

The National Crime Prevention Council and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice have developed a new public education campaign to increase public awareness about the threats to  health and the  economic harm caused by counterfeit pharmaceuticals, counterfeit goods, illegal downloads,  and other digital theft.   Attorney General Eric H. Holder; Victoria Espinel, Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, Executive Office of the President; Dr. Rebecca M. Blank, Acting Deputy Secretary of Commerce; Director John Morton, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security; and NCPC President and CEO, Ann M.
