Training

Trainings hosted by the national TCC office

The national TCC office provides a variety of training options to help you start using Community Works and Youth Safety Corps and to address specific crime prevention problems in your community.

Community Works Two Day Implementation Training

The national TCC office holds two regional Community Works Implementation Trainings and numerous local Implementation Trainings every year. Implementation Trainings are for individuals interested in using Community Works in school, community, or juvenile justice settings. Participants learn how to integrate Community Works into existing curricula or programs, law-related education and crime prevention basics, new teaching strategies, and how to start a Youth Safety Corps club. The training is also suitable for previous or current Community Works users who need a refresher.

If you have a group of adults and/or youth who want to be trained and are interested in hosting an Implementation Training, please contact us or call 202-466-6272 to discuss training options.

Youth Safety Corps Training

If you would like to start a Youth Safety Corps program, your school or community can choose to have a Youth Safety Corps trainer work with your group on teambuilding, leadership, and youth/adult partnership skills. Contact us or call 202-466-6272 to get started.
