Community Resource Night

We hold a Community Resource night before Halloween every year. We invite all the local agencies to attend. We serve either build ice cream sundaes or build your own bowl of chili. People go around the Social Hall and receive information and goodies from the different booths.The Sheriff is always there with Halloween safety tips and other information.

West Valley City Celebrate Safe Communities Month   

West Valley City plans to hold events in recognition of Celebrate Safe Communities Month in conjunction with events planned to recognize National Crime Prevention Month, National Domestic Violence Month and National Fire Prevention Week. Several safety fairs will be held throughout the City including City owned facilities, one of which is a Halloween Safety Fair which targets youth and families that participate in City sponsored after school programs.
