Waterways Celebrates Safe Communities

Waterway Neighborhood Association in partnership with Miami-Dade Police Department Midwest District and Citizens' Crime Watch of Miami-Dade will host a free picnic at the AD Barnes Park for all its crime watchers and residents. They will have pizza, hot dogs, pot luck dinners and refreshments for everyone. Kids will enjoy games, bounce house, the Miami-Dade Police Crime Prevention bus will have lots of information and giveaways for the kids and residents. Citizens' Crime Watch will provide crime prevention literature, Celebrate Safe Communities flashlights and ofcourse McGruff the Crime Dog will make a special appearance. The business community along with the District Commissioner Rebeca Sosa are sponsoring the event. The CSC will be held October 27 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
