The town of Sutton in coordination with the Sutton CDC and the Braxton County CVB will be hosting its first ever Sutton Childrens Durg and Awareness Fair on September 12, 2010 during the Mountain Lakes Festival. We will be having various different events going on. We will have a dunking booth set up with local law enforcement volunteering to be dunked, we will have booths set up with various different pamphlets and educators on hand to offer information in regards to drug awareness, crime awareness, and safety awareness. We will also be having a bike rodeo to educate the kids on the importance of bicycle safety and helmet saftey. The Girl Scouts have agreed to set up a snack station to offer snacks. We hope to have Mcgruff the Crime Dog to make an appearance. To wrap up the event we will be closing down our mainstreet in town and having an anti-drug, crime and safety awarness parade.
