CCW will bring law enforcement and residents together by hosting block parties, walks around the neighborhoods, bringing businesses and residents together. Citizens' Crime Watch of Miami-Dade is a non-profit organization who works with local law enforcement in the implementation of Neighborhood Watch programs, Youth Crime Watch programs in the schools, Senior Crime prevention in elderly housing and works with HUD in providing crime prevention techniques to their residents. CCW also coordinates with elected officials in the participation of crime prevention Safety Days. CCW provides literature in English, Spanish and Creole for its multicultural community.
Celebrate Safe Communities projects will be held throughout Miami-Dade in the month of October, initiated by hundreds of Neighborhood Watch groups.
