Information and resources for teens on a variety of crime prevention topics

Life as a teenager can be tough. Teens face many complex personal and social issues, such as succeeding in school, planning for the future, dating, driving, and becoming an adult. In addition, teen victimization has reached an alarming rate, and they are twice as likely as adults to become victims of violent crimes (Bureau of Justice Statistics).

In order to protect themselves from becoming a victim of any kind, teens need resources to help them respond to threats to their safety such as dating violence, bullying, hate crimes, sexual harassment, and assault. The more teens know about these issues, the easier it becomes for them to protect themselves.

Here teens will find resources on a variety of issues they face today. This information is designed to equip them with the knowledge they need to stay safe.
