Smith County Sheriff's Office
Smith County Sheriff's Office visits the City of Tyler Parks and Recreation in Tyler, TX every summer teaching the children about Stranger Danger, Bullying, and calling people names. We take "McGruff" the puppet and hand out valuable information to the children in the program. The Annual Smith County/City of Tyler Easter Egg Hunt
This is the second year for Smith County Volunteers to participate in this city and county Easter Egg Hunt for the children. They have individual tables set up to distribute "goodies" for the children and two different soft ball fields for the hunt. They separate the children by ages and have a machine distributing plastic eggs.
