Germantown Night Out on Crime

The City of Germantown will once again host Germantown Night Out on Tuesday, October 1 starting at 5 p.m. Residents will be turning on their front porch light, locking their door, and heading outside to pause and celebrate Germantown as a safe community. Some neighborhoods will be hosting a large gathering and others are getting together in small groups. 

October is Crime Prevention Month and is a great time to recognize the people who work tirelessly all year to prevent crime. Germantown Night Out residents will have the opportunity to visit with Eddie Eagle, McGruff the Crime Dog, Ollie the Otter, Germantown Police Officers, and Aldermen and City Officials. The Week of the Young Child- Kick Off

 We would like to invite you to our annual MAEYC Presents "Week of the Young Child " event. We would like for your organizations to present information about your programs that target families and children. A representative of the organization will need to be present for the length of the event. We will be providing the booth space free of cost.
