Block Watch Authority Fair

This will be a fair for a sucessful, dedicated, small amount of time inputted in our Block Watch start and the impact that it has had in our community by our elderly block watch individuals. In this Fair, we will have the Mayor, Chief of Police, K-9 units, and they will bring their vehicles for 'show and tell' and the LifeCare paramedics with Ambulance to show what they are all about and what they do for our community.

20th Annual LCCC FamilyFest

The action-packed, family-oriented FamilyFest, a day of great fun and lots of festivities, will include entertainment, demonstrations and food. The Elyria Neighborhood Block Watch will be handing out great information geared towards kids and family.

National Night Out

NNO will be celebrated Aug 6 in New Midldetown Welker Park. NNO begins with a mile long parade, then a huge party atmosphere behind the PD. Music bounce arounds giveaways and free food and entertainment for everyone along with a helicopter landing and tour by Stat Medevac, concluding with a fantastic fireworks display, all designed to bring the community and police together

We do monthly Community Watch Groups, have several school events throughout the year and have a wide community presence at the National Night Out event.
