Neighborhood Block Watch

We will be organizing Block Watch Groups thoughout the city. Members will learn how to make their homes more secure, watch out for each other and the neighborhood, and how to report activities that raise suspicions to the police. We will form watch groups around the 1st, 4th, and 5th wards, with emphasis on geographical units like a block, apartment, park, lot, business area, or public housing complex. We plan to also go door-to-door to provide information.

7th Annual Hackettstown Community Day

Community Day is geared toward public awareness of various non-profit agencies and the services they offer. It is also a showcase for local merchants and businesses. Last year we sent out over 7,000 flyers to local schools, senior centers and the general public. WRNJ 1510AM 92.7FM 104.7FM, WFMZ-TV 69 News and Local papers advertised the event. Loweísóalong with Mars Chocolate North America, local businesses and Centenary Collegeódonated food, beverages and or prizes.
