6th Annual Hackettstown Community Day

On behalf of the Hackettstown Police Department, Lowe’s of Hackettstown and Mars Chocolate North America we would like to invite your organization to attend the 6th Annual Hackettstown Community Day. This year’s event will take place Saturday October 6, 2012 from 11am-5pm. As in past years, the event will be held in the Lowe’s parking lot at 217 Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown, NJ. Last year’s event was a huge success with approximately 5,500 people attending.  The extended hour is to allow for more entertainment. We are hoping to make this year’s event even larger with non-profit organizations, local businesses, groups, displays, food and free giveaways. Everything at Community Day is free to the public. WRNJ broadcasted live from the event courtesy of Mars Chocolate North America. \n  Community Day is geared toward public awareness of the various non-profit agencies and the services they offer. It is also a showcase for local merchants and businesses. Last year we sent out over 7,000 flyers to local schools, senior centers and the general public.  WRNJ, NEWS12 NJ and Local papers advertised the event. Lowe’s, along with Mars Chocolate North America, local businesses and Centenary College donated food, beverages and or prizes.
