Town Square Public Safety Day

Safety related information booths and demonstrations.

Business owners, Children, Community volunteers, Homeowner or neighborhood associations, Local news media, Members of civic organizations, Military service members and their families, Parents, Representatives of public safety agencies besides law enforcement (fire, emergency services, emergency planning/management), Senior citizens, Teens, Watch groups (Block, Neighborhood, Business), Youth-serving organizations (B&G Clubs, YMCA, etc.)

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is partnering with the Clark County School District Police, and the Clark County Fire Department, in recognition of it also being Fire Prevention Week.  In addition to crime prevention and Neighborhood Watch information, the LVMPD is offering VIN Etch as well as Watch Your Car registration, two popular auto theft prevention programs.   The CCFD will have a fire truck and the CCFD 'Smokehouse' , for family and children's demonstrations on safely evacuating a house fire.   The CCSDPD will be on hand to answer questions about school related crime and the programs they offer to assist students in the learning environment.  And we will have some community organizations that work with children, such as the Boys and Girls Club, and offer assistance to crime victims and witnesses.  All activities will be located in the heart of the beautiful Town Square shopping center, in and around the park and next to the children's park.
