Miami-Dade Police Department South District will be hosting its first Celebrate Safe Communities in partnership with Citizens' Crime Watch of Miami-Dade, Christ Fellowship Church and Target Stores at the West Perrine Park on October 13 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Residents will have the Miami-Dade Police Crime Prevention Bus, the helicopter for the children, McGruff the Crime Dog will make a special appearance, plenty of crime prevention materials provided in Spanish, English and Creole by Citizens' Crime Watch, Target Stores will be providing many goodies for the attendees, and many other partners including Miami-Dade Corrections for fingerprinting the children.
