SAFE KIDS, SAFE COMMUNITIES conference on October 30, 2010 will be held t the Erie Bayfront Convention Center in attempting to keeping our communities children safe and secure.  This Conference will be attended by well over 200 departments and Agencies centering on keep us all better prepared to handle injury and accidents with our most venerable populations. Workshops will be held on over 26 safety topics for safety with children and vulnerable populations.

    In conjunction with this conference we will be hosting an Awards breakfast and introduction of the coveted status of  SAFE COMMUNITY that will be presented by the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION representatives. There are only 8 such cities in the US as of today who have achieved this status and it is an enormous accomplishment for Erie, PA. 
 This event is regional, community wide, non partisan, non political conference with many high level National and Local presenters and speakers that have been scheduled to attend, also by All or most of our local, State and possibly National dignitaries including Senators, Congressional reps, State Reps, Mayor, County Executive Agency Leaders and more. There will be media reps covering the event as one of our main partners is the ERIE TIMES NEWS.
