The Fighting Back Institute (www.fightingbackinstitute.org), in conjunction with the River Valley Prevention Coalition and The Journey Church will be hosting a Kid-Safe Communities event on Friday, October 22 at The Journey Church.  Starting at 4pm and concluding at 7pm, the venue will feature a variety of safety booths from local and state agencies, as well as law enforcement, fire, EMS and Kid-Safe Communities volunteers.  Fingerprinting, educational workshops, safety/self-defense training and more will be featured at this community event.
