The Ives Estate 15th Avenue Crime Watch will host its 3rd Annual Celebrating Safe Communitues event by bringing together neighbors by initiating a march around the adjoining streets. The march will be led by kids from the Michael Krop Marching band, crime watch residents using CSC flashlights, the Miami-Dade Police Crime Prevention bus in an effort to get more residents involved in Neighborhood Watch. The Crime Watch groups will march with their yellow t-shirts letting people know of their committment to the neighborhood. A block party will follow with presentations by various local agencies including the State Attorney, Miami-Dade Police Community Affairs, Citizens' Crime Watch of Miami-Dade with a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog.
