The Deer Park Police Department's Community Oriented Policing philosophy encourages our police and citizens to unite against crime and keeping our neighborhoods safe.  Our officers host quarterly beat meetings to bring the citizen's who reside in designated beats together to address concerns and issues effecting their neighborhood.  Our mission is to be proactive and connecting with our community in a positive manner brings us one step closer to this goal.  We host a Spring and Fall Citizen's Police Academy and encourage our participants to join us in our crime prevention efforts.  Our Neighborhood Watch Programs are strong due to the dilligence of our officers and citizen's and the willingness to be the "eyes and ears" of our community.  Our committment to keeping our city safe also extends to other community events such as Child Seat Safety events and National Night Out.  Our department also encourages our citizen's to volunteer for our police department assisting us with warrant calling, vehicle maintenance, record keeping, filing, answering telephones and much more.  Deer Park Police Department appreciates our police officers, citizens and our volunteers for their hard work and continued dedication to keeping Deer Park safe.
