Community Watch Workshop

Educate citizens in how to run an effective Community watch program in their neighborhood.

The Fayetteville Police Department  will hold a Community Watch Workshop to educate citizens in how to start and maintain an effective Community Watch program.    We will have speakers from within our Department to educate citizens on recognizing suspicious activity, crime trends, various Crime Prevention Programs, motivational speakers, a gang presentation and City officials talking about various City Ordinances (Unified Development, Rental & Landlord policies) .  We will also allow the citizens to talk amoung each other on what works in their neighborhood, why, and how it may be adapted for another neighborhood.  We will give success stories, failures and mediocre events and try to get residents to assist each other.
