A National Night Out event with Kiwanis and other civic groups will be held in a parking lot at one of the city's major intersections.

Working Together for a Crime-Free Community   

Local social agencies will set up information tables to share information with clients. Representatives of law enforcement, domestic violence, alcohol and drug prevention, and youth service organizations will be present, as will representatives of local churches and Neighborhood Watch. The goal is promotion of community safety and awareness.
