Crime Prevention Fair   

A crime prevention fair will teach members of the community about safety and other crime prevention topics. McGruff the Crime Dog will be present and available for pictures. There will also be a Be A Cop obstacle course, a K-9 demonstration, child fingerprinting, and more.

West Valley City Celebrate Safe Communities Month    

West Valley City wlll hold Celebrate Safe Communities events in conjunction with events marking Crime Prevention Month, National Domestic Violence Month, and National Fire Prevention Week. Several safety fairs will be held at city-owned facilities. One of these events, a Haloween safety fair, will target youths and families that participate in city-sponsored afterschool programs.

Enoch City Celerbrating Our Safe Community    

Enoch Police Department will hold a number of events in October. It will kick off its Neighborhood Watch campaign and host a night out against crime, using these events to reinforce its community policing activities. The department will also host four community workshops to help people secure their homes and learn about Neighborhood Watch, firearm safety, and prescription drug safety.  Information is available at www.cityofenoch.org.
