The surrounding areas have numerous events where we will be setting up a tent to expand our relationship with our community. Using your hand outs would be greatly appreciated to help guide and answer questions. We would be interested in any of the following topics-Bullying

Block Watch Event
The Sto-Rox Block Watch is having a parade and community pinic on August 6. The parade will travel through both communities.After the parade, there will be a community picnic from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Third Street Park.

Chester-Upland Safe Communities Celebration
Community members will hear presentations by the police, fire company, and elected officials who will suggest home and personal safety measures. The event will be held at night in the community park, under lights and with games and carnival-style rides.

Sto-Rox Block Watch Community Day
Sto-Rox Block Watch is celebrating its third year. The organization will kick off events on Saturday, August 6 with a community parade at noon. The parade will roll into Third Street Park, where neighbors will have a fun-filled day meeting one another.

Safe Communities Erie Safety Day
The Safety Day will feature drug and alcohol education (Coalition Pathways), fire prevention ( City of Erie Fire Department), suicide and bullying prevention (Attorney General's office), and prescription drug poisoning prevention ( Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine). The event is being organized by Safe Kids Erie and Safe Communities Erie.
