Wilhelm Park Community Safety Celebration   

The Baltimore Police Department's Southwest District will host a community safety celebration on October 22 in the Wilhelm community, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The event will feature McGruff the Crime Dog, Explorer Post 9448, Neighborhood Services (SWD), K-9, and much more. This event will showcase the Wilhelm Park neighborhood. Brochures and other reading materials will be provided and information-sharing will be encouraged.

St.Columba School Walk/Run For Education   

St. Columba School wil hold its third annual 5K walk/10K run for education. This event helps the school raise money for its scholarship fund. The event will be held at the Tucker Road community walk track and a T-shirt, snacks and water will be given to every person who registers to walk. National Night Out

Community Outreach Seminar   

A free seminar will be offered to all who live and work in the City of Takoma Park.  It will include an introduction to the City of Takoma Park Police Department's Community Outreach Program (C.O.P.).  It will also include topics on citywide crime statistics, personal safety, victimization, and residential crime prevention. Details on programs in which residents of the community can participate, such as Neighborhood Watch, will be explained in detail. Numerous informative pamphlets will be available, and interested parties will have an opportunity to sign up for the programs offered.
