Oak Creek National Night Out Event

This family friendly event offers Crime Prevention and Safety messages to the community from local and state agencies.

Business owners, Children, Community volunteers, Homeowner or neighborhood associations, K-12 school faculty or administrators, Local elected officials, Local government agency officials (other than public safety), Members of civic organizations, Parents, Representatives of public safety agencies besides law enforcement (fire, emergency services, emergency planning/management), Senior citizens, Teens, Watch groups (Block, Neighborhood, Business), Youth-serving organizations (B&G Clubs, YMCA, etc.)

This family friendly event offers Crime Prevention and Safety messages to the community from local and state agencies. The Oak Creek Police Department will offer a Driving Skills Course, Roll Over Simulator, ERU static display and demonstrations by the K-9 Unit. The Oak Creek Fire Department will have equipment on display and demonstrate the "Survive Alive" house. The US Coast Guard plans to have their "Dolphin" helicopter land and on display for a part of the evening.  The Oak Creek Crime Stoppers will have a FREE "Shred It" event sponsored by Piranha Shredding Company.  The shredding truck will be parked at the Oak Creek City Hall on Howell Avenue. There will be a two bag or box limit for those interested in disposing of important and confidential information. Food and drink are available for purchase at the event. Free flashlights will be distributed (one per family) while supplies last, and the traditional neighborhood "Take back the night" flashlight walk to the Oak Creek High School to enjoy Bartolotta's fireworks will round out the evening.
